All-State first team pick hit .323 with three homers and 27 RBIs for the Vikings, who fell in the state semifinals to eventual champ St. Mark’s.

McTaggert batted .463 with 24 RBIs and 25 runs scored for the Vikings, garnering All-State first team honors from the Delaware High School Baseball Coaches Association.

The future Blue Hen earned All-State honors at shortstop for the third consecutive year. A 6-foot-2 righty, he also starred at quarterback for the Vikings.

Spadafino has earned All-State accolades in each of his three varsity seasons so far; as a DH in 2011 and as a first baseman the last two years. This spring the Delaware commit batted .464 with 17 RBIs and struck out 52 batters in 39 innings on the hill.

Brooks wasn’t as dominant as last year, when he was named DEBCA Player of the Year, but the Louisville Slugger High School All-American still earned a spot on the All-State second team.

LSU signee hit .359, with three homers, 10 RBIs, 11 runs and 14 stolen bases in just 14 games for the Buccaneers. He earned All-State first team honors after being named a preseason Louisville Slugger High School All-American.

Earned first team All-State honors for the second year in a row after leading the Spartans to their second consecutive state crown. A career .500 hitter, he also stars for the basketball team.

A preseason Louisville Slugger High School All-American, Deely lived up to the hype, leading the Auks to a 13-6 record and earning All-State first team honors. He has committed to Delaware.

The Gatorade and DBC Player of the Year, Grasso hit .561, scored 24 times and batted in 29 runs in just 19 games. He also went 7-1 on the mound with a 1.42 ERA, fanning 51 in 49.1 innings and leading the Tigers (16-3) to the state quarterfinals.
