The 5-foot-10 shortstop earned All-State and ILH Division I first team honors as part of Mid-Pac’s state championship team. He was taken in the fourth round of the MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers.

The state’s Gatorade Player of the Year and ILH Division I MVP went 7-0 with a 0.41 ERA as MPI captured the state crown. He was named Most Outstanding Player of the state tournament after allowing just two combined runs in as many starts.
