2013 Boys’ Tennis All-Stars
Louis Abenante, St. Augustine — The sophomore went 20-9, advanced to the quarterfinals of the Cape-Atlantic League Tournament and made the individual state tournament. He went 1-2 against Vineland’s Rahi Patel, the Daily Journal Player of the Year.

Jack Peterson, Schalick — The senior went 27-4, won the Tri-County Conference championship for the second consecutive year and won a match at states. He went 71-11 in his three years at first singles for the Cougars.
Nick Mayo and Darren Tomasso, Vineland — Tomasso, a senior, and Mayo, a junior, had an outstanding season, winning the CAL doubles crown, reaching the finals of the South Jersey Interscholastic Championships and making the round of 16 at the state tournament. They finished 31-5-1.
Antik Patel and Kurt Strittmatter, Cumberland — The two seniors were the only other area pair to make the state tournament. They finished 19-6 and won matches at the South Jersey and TCC tournaments.
