7. Kelly Amonte-Hiller
Amonte-Hiller was a dual sport All-American (lacrosse and soccer) at Maryland.

Why Her: Amonte-Hiller was twice named national player of the year (1995 and 1996) while at Maryland, then went on toplay for two women’s lacrosse world championship teams (1997 and 2001). Amonte-Hiller also represented the United States during the 1998 Triathlon Amateur World Championship.
Ultimate Moment: In October 2012, Amonte-Hiller was inducted into the U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame in honor of her remarkable collegiate career, which includes four-time All-American status and two national championships.
Funky Fact: As the women’s lacrosse coach for Northwestern, Amonte-Hiller has led the team to seven NCAA titles in eight years. Her coaching accolades granted her an opportunity to throw a ceremonial first pitch at Wrigley Field.
