4. Lisa Leslie

Three-time WNBA MVP and four-time Olympic medal winner in basketball.


Why Her: Leslie played basketball and volleyball and participated in track and field at Morningside (Inglewood, Calif.) High School. She went on to a decorated career at the University of Southern California, where she set the Pac-10 records for points, rebounds and blocked shots. She was taken with the seventh pick of the inaugural WNBA draft and played in seven WNBA All-Star Games and won two WNBA titles.

Ultimate Moment: On July 12, 2002, Leslie became the first player to dunk in a WNBA game.

Funky Fact: Leslie's childhood dream was to be a TV meteorologist. In 2009, Good Morning America gave her that chance.
