Allen's buzzer-beater propels Wheat Ridge to improbable win

Wheat Ridge (Colo.) appeared to be cooked in the first round of the 4A state playoffs last week. With 2.2 seconds to play, Palisade had the ball and a 53-52 lead.

Enter Danny Allen.

The Wheat Ridge senior forward intercepted Palisade's inbounds pass and launched a 3-pointer from the left wing before the buzzer sounded. It was good, giving Wheat Ridge a stunning win.

Allen's shot was one of the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Performances of the Week. Here are a few others.
