The Blackman volleyball team defeated Stewarts Creek 25-7, 25-19, 25-16 Tuesday night.

Ahria Rachell finished with nine kills. Jade Abbott added six kills and Tristyn Lozano finished with four kills.

Danielle Ged added 10 digs, Charliee Holt finished with 15 digs and Angela Boudavong added 16 digs in the win. Jess Oliver added 23 assists too.

Siegel 3, Oakland 0: Siegel cruised to a 25-10, 25-14, 25-12 win over the Lady Patriots and locked up the top seed in the District 7-AAA tournament.

The trio of Carlton Gay, Alexa Faulkner and Tori Simmons led Siegel (22-6, 10-0 in 7-AAA) with seven kills apiece.

Asha Phillips had seven aces and 12 digs and Jill Morgan added 25 assists.

Taylor Harrell led Oakland with four kills. Rachel Todd added three kills.

MTCS 3, Fayetteville 0: The Lady Cougars won 25-23, 25-15, 25-13.

McKenzie McKnight finished with four aces, Emma Self added four aces and five kills and Rachel Mullen added 13 assists in the win.

Cannon County 3, MTCS 1 (Late Tuesday): The Lady Lions defeated the Lady Cougars 25-23, 25-12, 20-25, 25-23.

Mullen finished with 38 assists, Self added six digs and two blocks while McKnight totaled 15 kills and seven digs in the loss.


Oakland 2, Riverdale 1: The Lady Patriots got goals from Kaitlin Murphy and Taylor McKinley to the Battle of the Boro on the pitch. Maddie Watson recorded two assists in the win.

Riverdale’s goal was scored by Rosemary Lou. Lauren Leek earned the assist on the play.

Oakland 28, Siegel 14: Running back Cameron Snelling scored all four touchdowns for Oakland, which improved to 6-0 on the season. 9-yard run. Devonte

Snelling has 709 rushing yards on the season.

Siegel got a touchdown run from Daniel Bradford in the first quarter and a touchdown pass from quarterback J.R. Langworthy to wide receiver Zac Pearson.

Kicker Jernigan made both extra points for Siegel too.

Langworthy finished 10 of 12 passing for 116 yards.
