Blackman’s girls pulled out a 51-48 win over Sparkman (Ala.) High on the road Thursday night.

Alex Johnson and Crystal Dangerfield scored 16 points each for the Lady Blaze (2-0), and Micah Norris added nine points. Kentucky commitment Alexis Jennings scored 25 for Sparkman.

Cannon Co. 76,

Coffee Co. 42

MTSU signee Abbey Sissom scored 24 points, and Madison Walkup added 13 points in Cannon County’s victory to improve to 5-0.

PCA 47,

Daniel 1 Academy 32

Alex May scored 15 points for Providence Christian Academy. Liza Jane Jones and Mary Claire Dutton added eight points apiece.

Tullahoma 34, Siegel 33

Erica Roberts scored 14 points, and Patricia Brown added seven points in Siegel’s narrow loss.

MTCS 60, Columbia 33

Middle Tennessee Christian School (3-1) won behind Ashlynd Wilkerson’s 17 points. Abby Buckner added 13, and Jordan Faulkner netted 12.

High School Boys

PCA 66,

Daniel 1 Academy 53

David Shepard netted a game-high 19 points in the win. Kipp Swafford added 17 points for Providence Christian Academy, and Jake Johnson scored 15.

Cannon Co. 61,

Coffee Co. 41

Garrett McReynolds scored 16 points, and Cory Henley added 15 for Cannon County.

MTCS 78, Columbia 58

Middle Tennessee Christian School improved to 4-0. Derrick Spears led all scorers with 32. David Capps had 13, and Ben Brown scored 12.

Blackman 61,

Sparkman (Ala.) 46

Reid Pierce and Andrew Rogan scored 13 points each. Lukas Hart (12 points), Isaiah Hart (11) and Christian DeWitt (10) rounded out scoring for Blackman.

Siegel 73, Tullahoma 22

Aden Burton and Rob Lalance scored 11 points each, and Ryan Jones chipped in 10 in Siegel’s blowout win.

Freshman Boys

Smyrna 63, Eagleville 23

John Turner scored 12 points in Smyrna’s win. Teammates Deven Sims and Cade Mills chipped in eight points each.

Katie Nyland and Brinae Alexander scored 15 points apiece for Stewarts Creek (4-1). Destiny Davis had 13 for Siegel.

Whitworth-Buchanan 48,

Smyrna 14

Baquisha Norris scored 14 points for Whitworth-Buchanan. Jalynne Cantlett had 10 for Smyrna.

Oakland 67,

Central Middle 11

Kayce Howard (11 points), Shamaria Collier (10), Kaici Bivens (nine) and Sydney Gibson (eight) paced Oakland to the victory.

Blackman 52,

La Vergne 18

Jaleah Goff scored 10 points for Blackman. Jasmine Corley, Gwen Hollis and Jaida Bond added six points each.

Winfree Bryant 37,

Rockvale 34

Mia Metcalf (10 points), Elaina McGill (nine) and Alyson Bigley (eight) led Rockvale despite the loss.

Corry Rankin scored 15 points, and Mari Stoudamire added 10 for Rockvale.

Marcellis Martin led Siegel to the win with 20 points. Ryan Hill chipped in 15.

Whitworth-Buchanan 65,

Smyrna 12

C.J. Murray’s 17 points paced Whitworth-Buchanan, and Darius Jones chipped in eight points.

* Kolby Sneed scored eight points, and Elijah Cobb had six points in Whitworth-Buchanan’s 26-16 win over Smyrna in junior varsity play.
