Junior Jack O’Brien broke the Hen Hud record in the javelin throw with a toss of 56.13 meters in the New York Relays at Icahn Stadium Saturday, and he placed second in the decathlon with a score of 5,028 points.
Mike Gabrielsen was third in the javelin with 155-11.
Tri-Valley Invitational: Hen Hud’s Liana Alves was third in the 1,500-meter racewalk in 8 minutes, 45.0 seconds in Grahamsville Saturday.
Julie Miller was third in the javelin with a distance of 83-4. The Hen Hud 3,200 relay team (Ella Rasmussen, Katie DiCola, Alves and Caitlyn Torres) placed third in 11:12.
Boys lacrosse: Liam DaRoss scored six goals on Saturday to lead Brewster over the Pride 12-6 at Ossining.
Fernando Solis had two goals and one assist, and Anthony Alfonzetti had a goal and two assists.
Mike Pappalardo scored three goals for Ossining.
Mamaroneck 13, New Rochelle 5: At New Rochelle Saturday, Peter Conley had five goals and two assists, and Scott Greenberg added four goals and one assist. Ben Martin had three goals and Reed Morris had three assists. Dennis Spencer had two goals and two assists for the Huguenots.
Tappan Zee 13, Ardsley 1: At Tappan Zee Saturday, Jaime Garcia and Zak Young each scored a hat trick. Peter Henninger and Trevor Pollack each added two goals. Connor Lynady (three saves) and Chris Schondris (four saves) split time in goal for the Dutchmen. Joey Gallo scored for the Panthers.
Softball: Kristin Martin went 3 for 4 with two runs scored and three RBI as Eastchester defeated Sleepy Hollow 16-0 in five innings at Sleepy Hollow on Saturday.
Stephanie Fiorello and Christina Zaccardi each added two RBI.
