Riverdale (21-7, 6-1 District 7-AAA) cruised past Oakland 25-18, 25-8, 25-15 Thursday evening.

Kirsten Inman handed out 38 assists for the match, while Lauren Petoskey led the Warriors with 10 service points.

Lauren Petoskey and Kirsten Inman led the team with three aces each. Ashleigh Lozier led the team in kills with 10 too.

Dakyla Wells and Alicia McClellan led the Lady Warriors in blocks with four each, while Beth Sullivan finished with eight digs.

Central Magnet 3, Cannon County 0: The Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Lions 25-22, 25-15, 25-21. McKayla Russell 12 kills. Sara Smith 23 assists. Evelyn Drake 10 aces. Sydney Smith seven aces.

Blackman 3, Smyrna 1: The Lady Blaze lost the first game but went on win the last three games and defeat Smyrna by the score of 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-14.

Jade Abbott eight kills. Ahria Rachell six kills. Danielle Ged seven kills, six digs and six blocks. Tristyn Lozano five kills. Kelsey Phillips finished with four kills and three blocks. Charlee Holt 14 digs. Jess Oliver finished with 35 assists and five blocks.


Oakland 9, La Vergne 0: The Lady Patriots continued to dominate the soccer season so far by improving their record to 7-1-0. Oakland has recorded six shutouts after Thursday night’s victory too.

Goalie Emma Grace Goldman recorded the shutout for the Lady Patriots.

Goals were scored by Madelyn Rose (three), A.B. Hawkins (two), Madison Hochstetler, Kaitlyn Murphy, Via Rogers and Ramsey Parker.
