The inaugural state wrestling team duals will start Wednesday, and all three area teams will take part.

The drawings were held this past weekend, with higher seeds hosting regional quarterfinals. Locations for regional semifinals and finals will be determined.

The state dual meet will be Feb. 9 at Ohio State’s St. John Arena.

Coshocton and Ridgewood earned the Nos. 2 and 6 seeds, respectively, in Division III, Region 21. The Redskins take on No. 7 seed Pomeroy Meigs after Ridgewood faces No. 3 seed Amanda-Clearcreek. Both matches will be at Coshocton with the Generals and Aces starting at 6 p.m., and the Redskins and Marauders afterward.

Admission for those matches is $7, and no passes will be accepted. Doors open at 5 p.m., and there is no charge for parking.

River View was named the No. 8 seed in Division II, Region 12 and opens with No. 9 seed Indian Valley at 6 p.m. at Claymont High School. The winner advances to face top-seeded Claymont 20 minutes afterward.

All winners advance to the regional semifinals Jan. 30, with sites named Jan. 25.
