NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — Fletcher High School junior Brad Bourque has been chosen as our athlete of the week. The Senators offensive tackle and defensive end is a key contributor for his team, but he’s also an excellent student.
“Brad has started every single game for us since he has been at Fletcher and that includes his 9th grade year on varsity which for a program like ours is almost unheard of,” says Senators head coach Josh Corey, “He is the kind of kid if I had a team full of Brads, I could coach 100 years.”
If you’d like to nominate a local high school athlete for our athlete of the week award, please fill out the form located at this link: http://www.firstcoastnews.com/sports/highschool/athleteoftheweek/default.aspx
