What’s up everybody! I’m back, and I have a lot of interesting stuff to share!

Since my last blog I began to run on my school’s track team. I must say, we are pretty darn good! So far, we have won three of our last four meets and are currently second in our conference.

Personally, I wish we could make the jump to No. 1, but the best team in the conference, Ben Davis, is really fast and will be tough to beat. I’m confident we can improve and not only be a contender for the conference championship, but for state championship!

I’m currently running the 100-meter dash – my best time is a 10.8 second. Also, I’m part of the 400-meter relay with my teammates Isaac James, Josh Ebikwo and Garret Collins. Our best time is 42.66, and we are creeping up on our school record of 42.23 seconds. I am certain that we can break that record this season!

Along with track, I also have to maintain my skills on the football field and make sure I keep my head straight with football recruitment.

Since most states in the Midwest don’t have spring football, my teammates and I have to make sure we remain in peak shape due to the limited time we get with our coaches. Right now, I’m staying in shape with track and throwing each week with my quarterback, John Lampe, along with a couple of receivers. I also work with my dad for a more in-depth workout.

Even though it may sound like I have a full schedule right now, I have yet to add in recruiting. This spring has been absolutely crazy recruiting-wise – whether it be coaches visiting me or me going to visit different schools.

So far this spring I’ve visited Miami, Florida and Ohio State. Every school I have visited is astounding. I have to add in that I have friends and family all wanting me to go to different schools. My girlfriend Dana and my family who lives in Florida want me to go to one of the “big 3” in Florida (FSU, Miami or Florida). My family out west wants me to attend Stanford, and my friends in Indiana want me to stay in the Midwest.

I must say, this will not be an easy decision! But, I know what I’m looking for in a school and my inner circle of friends and family will help me make the best possible decision when the time comes.

All right guys. I have to start my homework. I hope you enjoyed this little excerpt about my life. Talk to you all soon!
