An ill-advised fourth-down pass out of the end zone on a fake punt early in the game by Miami Braddock put Barron Collier in the driver’s seat in its win over the Bulldogs.

On the next play, Derren Pass took the ball in from the 1 to give the Cougars a 10-0 lead that they never gave back.

Barron Collier controlled the game offensively from the beginning and defensively broke the game open with 26 third-quarter points.

The effort was sparked by sophomore all-purpose back Nate Doyle, who scored two rushing touchdowns among his 10 carries for 75 yards.
