LAKEWOOD – After making an appearance in the state championship game in three of the last four years, Fleming finally won the 1A state title, beating Holly 5-3.

With the game tied 3-3 in the top of the 7th inning, Jordan Karg hit a single up the middle that scored two runs and helped Fleming secure the win.

The post game celebration was all about Jeremy Richhard-Kind. A Fleming student who was paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident this spring. Ricchard would have played 3rd base for the Wildcats, instead he watched the game from his wheel chair. After the game Jeremy got a taste of the state championship field,
