Kyle Bradshaw was 3 for 3 with a double, a walk and an RBI in the Dover High School baseball team’s 14-0 victory over visiting Webutuck on Tuesday in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League game.
Bradshaw also pitched a complete game over seven innings, striking out five and walking none.
Greg Boettcher was 3 for 5 with a triple and two RBI.
Nick Barnes, Hunter Coulthard and Andrew Thrasher had singles for Webutuck.
Arlington B 3, Pawling 0 – Michael Drummond and Paul Sevigny combined to hold the visiting Tigers to one hit as Arlington B improved to 8-7.
Garrett Murray contributed three hits and an RBI for Freedom Plains’ Admirals, who scored the eventual winning run in the second inning before adding a pair of insurance runs in the third.
Aaron Thomas’ swinging bunt accounted for Pawling’s only hit. His team fell to 8-9.
Arlington B hosts Our Lady of Lourdes today.
Late Monday, visiting Pawling beat Gorton thanks, in part, to Matt Bellucci’s two doubles and two runs.
Red Hook 5, Marlboro 2 – James Edwards finished with three hits, and fellow Raider Nate Tomlinson (RBI) added two, as Red Hook won on the road.
Matt Winkler finished with two hits and two RBI for Marlboro.
John F. Kennedy Catholic 7, Arlington 6 — The Admirals gave up an unearned run in the top of the seventh to drop to 14-3.
“It was an opportunity for us to clinch the league and we kind of threw it away,” Arlington coach Al Hammell said. “We need to come back (today) with a little more intensity.”
Arlington hosts Roy C. Ketcham today with another chance to secure the Section 1 Conference I League A championship.
Arlington fell behind 6-3 but scored twice in the bottom of the fourth and tied the score on Drew Lugbauer’s solo home run one inning later.
Danny Lowndes, Kyle Dinges, Tyler Bruno and Lugbauer all had multiple hits.
Haldane 8, Poughkeepsie 1 — John Rotando was 3 for 4 with a triple, a double and an RBI as the Blue Devils won on the road.
Drew Ford added two hits and two RBI for Haldane. Kenny Doxey had three RBI.
Jake Rosado, Matt Romer, Matt Weaver and Adolfo Parelta had hits for Poughkeepsie.
Ryan Christian tossed a complete game for Pawling and registered seven strikeouts.
Highland beat Poughkeepsie 5-3 late Monday as Mike Canino was 2 for 2 with a run scored and teammate Jake Armstrong added two hits, an RBI and a run.
