Lewis Palmer will have a chance to defend its 4A title on Saturday when the Rangers face Valor Christian.

The Rangers knocked off Wasson 61-54 in a 4A Final 4 game Friday night in Boulder.

Jordan Scott finished with 19 points to lead the way for Lewis Palmer. The Rangers will play Valor Christian Saturday afternoon for the state title.

The Eagles squeaked by Broomfield in a thrilling semi final game. Down 12 to start the 4th quarter Valor chipped away and eventually took a 1 point lead in the final seconds on a Luke Proctor 3 point field goal. It was Proctor’s only shot of the game.

Broomfield had a shot win at the buzzer but it hit the rim short. 75-74 was the final score.

The Eagles advance to the finals for the 1st time in school history.
