Battle of the Bridges basketball games take place all day Saturday

The 16th annual Battle of the Bridges Kentucky-Indiana all-star basketball games for boys and girls are going on all day Saturday at Mid-America Sports Center, 1901 Watterson Trail.

The schedule began with morning games featuring rising second- and third-graders. It moves along with a boys’ and girls’ game for each grade up to ninth grade. In the afternoon, there are “Future Stars” games for high school underclassmen (girls 3:30 p.m., boys 4:30), and the evening is capped by the showcase games for high school varsity girls at 6 and varsity boys at 7:30.
