Bayonne's Frank DiPillo almost perfect

By

Frank DiPillo's start to the season was almost perfect. The junior right-hander led Bayonne (N.J.) to a 3-0 defeat of St. Peter's Prep (Staten Island, N.Y.) on Monday by throwing a seven-inning no-hitter. DiPillo needed only 65 pitches for the win and, if not for hitting John Noone, he would have had a perfect game.

DiPillo headlines the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Performances of the Week.
