Berlin posted three wins in the field events and got big days from Claudia Roca and Kinsey Harmon en route to winning the girls title at the Eastern Valley Conference track and field meet held Saturday.

The meet was delayed 90 minutes at the start because of weather conditions and athletes battled all types of conditions during the meet.

Still, it was the Indians that reigned over the girls competition, finishing with 146 points to easily claim the team title. Freedom was second with 107, followed by Xavier with 106.

Roca captured one of the three wins in the field events, finishing first in the high jump, while adding a third place in the triple jump. She was also third in the 100-meter hurdles.

Harmon finished third in all three distance races, placing behind the Freedom duo of Liz Bloy and Lauren Peters in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters.
