Bowling: Irish boys and girls drop home opener

Fisher Catholic boys and girls each lost their home opening match Monday to Granville at Tiki Lanes.

The girls team won the first game by 88 pins but ultimately fell 1,447-1,383 to the Blue Aces. Kirsten Miller led Fisher Catholic with a high game of 165 and a 303 series.

The boys also won their first game of the night but fell 1,921-1,616. Corey Kennedy led Fisher Catholic with a 182 game.

The Irish will next play Zane Trace in Chillicothe on Friday.
