PORT CLINTON

The Port Clinton’s boys bowling team earned their seventh consecutive trip to the OHSAA Northwest District Bowling Tournament at Interstate Lanes in Rossford next Friday by finishing second in sectional action at Star Lanes at the Harbor in Port Clinton Friday.

Kyle Radloff the the Redskins with games of 215-204-221 for a 660 series and Caleb Conrad added 182-217-205 for a 604 series. Dave Wilburn rolled a 221 game and Darryl Trent a 226 game.

“Our boys bowled good tonight,” Port Clinon coach Bob Black said. “But we need to make more quality shots to advance to state. We’ll have three or four practices to sharpen up our games and we’ll see how we do. We have as good a chance as anyone to advance.”

The Redskins girls will bowl in tomorrow’s sectional tournament at Star Lanes at the Harbor in Port Clinton today at 1 p.m.
