Boys Basketball: Living Word outpaces Ozaukee

Ozaukee’s boys basketball team got off to a slow start on the road Thursday in the Warriors’ second game of the season, eventually falling 46-38 to Living Word Lutheran.

Jake Wolff scored all of his nine points from behind the arc, Andy Richter added seven points and Owen Miller had six to help lead Ozaukee.

The Warriors (1-1, 1-0 Central Lakeshore Conference) trailed 9-4 after the first quarter, but kept pace with Living Word the rest of the way, trailing by five points at halftime and keeping things manageable in the second half.

Lutheran had two players score in double digits. Daniel Axtman scored a game-high 13 points, while teammate Reggie Willman added 12.
