At Neenah, Matt Heldt scored 15 of his game-high 19 points in the first half as the Rockets took a 38-15 halftime lead.

Neenah held Menasha to one field goal in the second half.

Travis VanderHeyden scored eight of his 10 points in the first half as Kimberly too a 32-20 lead. Travis Paschen led the Papermakers with 13 points.

Kyle Schalow scored 13 of his game-high 15 points in the second half as Kaukauna closed the gap. Trent Nytes finished with 13 points.

At Appleton, the Terrors came out hot, racing out to a quick double-digit lead.

Matt Reader led the Terrors with 18 points, while Dominik Thompson added 14 and Jayzon Owens 11.

“We shot the ball well, especially the first half,” West coach Brennan Hussey said. “Our defense was good in the first half.”

“Turnovers hurt us,” FVL coach Matt Koepsell said. “We gave up too many easy buckets, especially early in the game.”

Derek Ashman had 15 points for FVL (1-5).
