Marist 47, Rutgers Prep 45: Levi Holmes led all scorers with 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Rutgers Prep (1-1) fell.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 43, J.P. Stevens 39: Leo Ramos scored 19 of a career-high 24 points in the second half to power Scotch Plains-Fanwood (2-1). Nick Dooley (12 points, 8 rebounds) and Francois Ballou (10 points, 10 rebounds) paced J.P. Stevens (0-2).

Ridge 64, Phillipsburg 43: Dan McCreesh led all scorers with 15 points for Ridge, which opened up a 14-point lead after the first quarter. Max Mahoney scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Kevin Doolan finished with 10 points and 10 assists for the Red Devils (2-0).

Woodbridge 61, Carteret 55: Zahneer Shuler scored 22 points, Josh Olowookere added 11, and Mike Cordero recorded nine points and 13 rebounds to lead Woodbridge (2-0). Jaquan Robertson scored a game-high 32 points for Carteret (1-1) while Brandon Gilder added 10.
