LITTLE FALLS – Little Falls got 21 points from Collin Eckman in its 60-59 nonconference win over Rocori Thursday night.

Bryce Zawatzke and Troy Scott added 10 points each for the Flyers and Jake Scott had 15 points. The Flyers shot 45 percent from the field, 8 of 19 from three-point range and 10 of 12 from the line.

Rocori shot 49 percent from the field, 5 of 9 from beyond the arc and 10 of 11 from the line. Jonah Eisenschenk led the Spartans with 22 points and Mac Mueller had 14 points.

Little Falls led 31-28 at the half.

COLLEGEVILLE – The Johnnies pulled away in the second half to fend off the visiting Panthers in Prairie Conference action.

Zack Dehler scored a game-high 17 points for St. John’s Prep while Grant Franke pitched in 12.

Leevi Leibold led Onamia with 16 points.

SARTELL – Willmar hit eight three-pointers to pull within nine points in the second half, but fell to Sartell (8-6, 13-10) in a Central Lakes Conference game.

Tim Immelman tallied 22 points to best the Sabres. Tom Bearson added 20, and Pat Fischer recorded 17 points for Sartell. Kyler Johnson topped Willmar with 12 points.

ST. CLOUD APOLLO 64

Brainerd senior Jacob Blong led all scorers with 25 points as Brainerd downed St. Cloud Apollo at Apollo High School.

Four players reached double figures for the Warriors. Senior Marcus scored 18 points while seniors Jack Sauer and Tony Sauer each added 11 points.

Apollo (8-6 CLC, 13-11 overall) trailed by as much as 20 points in the first half. The Eagles were led by senior Brett Maslonkowski, who finished with 21 points.

BRAINERD – Jacob Blong 25, Marcus Comstock 18, Tony Sauer 11, Jack Sauer 11, Jagar Hanson 6, Ian Haug 3, Chris Bowman 3, Taylor Huber 2.

ZIMMERMAN – The Crusaders quieted the Thunder Thursday night on the road in the Granite Ridge Conference.

Sophomore gaurd Brindley Theisen led the charge for Cathedral (11-3, 18-6) with 22 points. Junior forward Brady Schmit added 14.

BECKER – Josh Nohner had 18 points in Becker’s conference win over Mora.

Cole Anderson added 10 points for the Bulldogs and Michael Veldman had 11 points.

Sam Johnson had 23 points for Mora.

SAUK CENTRE 67,
WADENA-DEER CREEK 33

WADENA – Senior guard Patrick Knoblauch scored 19 points to reach 1,000 career points as Sauk Centre sped past Wadena-Deer Creek.

Knoblauch, who also had eight assists, now sits at 1,001 career points. He’s the second Sauk Centre player to reach 1,000 points this season. Senior center Nick Adams reached the mark last week.

Junior guard Josh Buschette added 14 points for the Mainstreeters (10-2 West Central, 16-5 overall).

NEW LONDON-SPICER 70

NEW LONDON – The Tigers hit 15 of 15 free throws down the stretch to capture the victory as Al Alaafs and Shaun Schindler had 18 points apiece.
