ST. PAUL, Minn. — Centennial's Hans Gorowsky's three assists pushed the Cougars past Champlin Park in the section 5AA boy's hockey championship game 4-2 at Rose Warner Coliseum in St. Paul.

Ryner Gorowsky opened the scoring for Centennial midway through the first period. Scott Lessard leveled the score for the Rebels 6:53 into the second. Kenny Sinna would reclaim the Cougar lead just under two minutes later. Ryner Gorowsky added another goal midway through the third period.

The Rebels would pull to within one, less than two minutes later on a Luke Dalman goal. Andrew Betrand's tally with five minutes remaining solidified the section title for Centennial. Champlin Park goaltender Tyler Nelson posted 42 saves on the night. Cougar goaltender Patrick Munson stopped 26 of the 28 shots he faced.
