* Brendan Gleason, Essex: Emerging as the Hornets’ top goal scorer, the sophomore attack dialed up four goals and an assist in a win over South Burlington a few days after generating five goals and an assist in a loss to Hanover, N.H.
* Trevor Harnsberger, Green Mountain Valley School: He notched a hat trick during a win over Lamoille in a battle between Division II powers last week, and also pumped in six goals in the Gumbies’ triumph of Mount Abraham on Tuesday.
