Boys lacrosse: Watchung Hills eases past North Hunterdon

Jeff George tallied four goals and added one assist and Alec Orazietti scored a pair of goals to lead the Watchung Hills High School boys lacrosse team to a 9-4 victory over North Hunterdon. Ryan Cunningham, Sean Mullaney and Andrew Keller chipped in with one goal each for the Warriors (5-3). FOGO Jack Melillo picked up eight ground balls in the victory.

For North Hunterdon (3-8), Hank Joyce dished out two assists, while four different players scored.

Bernards 16, Montclair Kimberley 3: Griffin Connor tallied five goals, Devin Ray picked up his 100th career goal and Robert Schaufler collected his 100th career point as Bernards (10-2) rolled. Ray scored three goals to eclipse the century mark and Schaufler clicked four times.

Hunterdon Central 16, Montgomery 14: Keegan Hickey scored five goals and added an assist to lead Hunterdon Central (6-2). Nick Tortoriello chipped in a hat trick and Jackson Lee picked up two goals and four assists for the Red Devils. Josh Reinson clicked for five goals and two assists for Montgomery (5-5).

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 19, Newark East Side 4: Matt Greenberg and Nate Woerner each scored two goals and added five assists and Jack Cunningham recorded his 100th career point to pace Scotch Plains-Fanwood (7-4).

Rutgers Prep 16, Monroe 9: Evan Lombardo scored seven goals, Donald Stephan and Jack Vajda each connected for hat tricks and Rutgers Prep (10-0) remained perfect. Matt Siemons clicked for six points (three goals, three assists) to lead Monroe (8-3).

Mountain Lakes 15, St. Joseph 5: Dom Morelli scored twice and Ozzie Borerro, Pat Kellish and Kyle Stenberg each tallied for St. Joseph (4-6).

Moorestown 11, Hillsborough 1: Jimmy Boland scored in the fourth quarter for Hillsborough (4-5).
