A pair of area soccer players were recently received all-state mention from the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association.
Senior forward Brock Lisowe of Fond du Lac and senior midfielder Luke Jansen of Central Wisconsin Christian were each named to the all-state list.
Lisowe, a first-team selection in the Fox Valley Association, led the Cardinals with 24 goals and 17 assists on the season. He was one of 22 forwards selected to the all-state list, with the top two forwards landing on the First-11 Team.
Lisowe was one of seven FVA players named to the all-state teams.
Jansen was the two-time Player of the Year in the Flyway Conference and led the Crusaders to back-to-back trips to the sectional finals. Jansen scored 35 goals in 25 games to lead Central Wisconsin Christian, while also leading the team in assists with 21.
He was one of 32 midfielders honored by the WSCA, with the top five landing on the First-11 Team. He was the lone selection from the Flyway Conference.
Neenah’s Adam Pohlman, the Player of the Year in the FVA, was named the WSCA Player of the Year.
