Max Gomez scored 16 minutes into the second half as the Hunterdon Central High School boys soccer team topped No. 3 Manalapan in the NJSIAA Central Group IV semifinals Tuesday. No. 2 Central will play eighth-seeded South Brunswick in Friday’s final.

Wall 2, Somerville 0: Brendan Barcas and Zach Hetzel scored goals for No. 6 Wall, which knocked out No. 7 Somerville.

New Egypt 2, Bound Brook 1: Chris Carrizosa scored a second-half goal, but No. 133 Bound Brook fell to the No. 1 seed.
North 2 Group IV
Millburn 1, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 0: Dan Korduba made four saves for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, but a second-half goal by Josh Mata sent No. 7 Millburn past the No. 3 Raiders.
North 2 Group II
Leonia 2, Bernards 1: Danny Torres scored a goal while Dylan Kahn made seven saves for Bernards, but No. 6 Leonia toppled the No. 2 Mountaineers.

Pingry 1, CBA 0: Senior Louie Monteagudo scored a goal and the Pingry defense did the rest as the top-seeded Big Blue advanced to the sectional final. Pingry will face No. 2 Notre Dame on Friday at Eastern High School.
Notre Dame 4, Immaculata 1: Eric Boyer scored off a John Madaras feed for Immaculata, but the No. 6 Spartans fell to No. 2 Notre Dame.

Gill St. Bernard’s 6, Trenton Catholic 0: Justin Duncan posted two goals and an assist, and James Reiner added two goals as top-seeded Gill St. Bernard’s rolled into the final. Jack Lowe chipped in a goal and an assist, and Jordan Schreer made six saves for the Knights, who will host No. 3 Moorestown Friends on Friday.
Moorestown Friends 2, Timothy Christian 1: Matt DiLeo headed in a David Figueroa corner kick with 20 minutes left to tie the game for Timothy Christian, but Moorestown scored with 13 minutes to go to eliminate the second-seeded Tigers.
