John Nebel scored four goals and Joe Pellowski added three more for Kohler — all in the first half — in the Blue Bombers’ 8-2 win over Random Lake on Monday.
Noah Fink added the final score, from 35 yards out. The Bombers (13-8-2 overall) wrapped up a 7-4-1 Central Lakeshore Conference season with the victory, assuring themselves of at least third place.
“We started conference play this year with three losses in our first four games. The team showed good character to come back strong and had only one loss in the second half of the season,” said Kohler coach Scott Feltner. “Hopefully we can maintain our good form into the post season.”
Zach Ross and Logan Martin scored for the Rams.
Oostburg 6, Ozaukee 0
Six different players scored for the Flying Dutchmen, who moved to 8-2-1 in the CLC.
Jake Swihart, Matt DeMaster and Lukas Meerdink scored first-half goals for Oostburg (15-6-1), and Kyle Ebbers, Brandon Wallace and Christian Graves scored in the second half. Swihart added two assists, and Tyler Brusse had one. Oostburg had just eight shots on goal.
Ozaukee dropped to 3-21, 2-8 CLC.
Christian/Lutheran 3, Cedar Grove 0
James Rasmussen and Graham VerVelde scored goals for the Eagles, who are now 19-0, 11-0 with the win.
The third score was an own-goal off a blistering cross by Rasmussen.
Christian/Lutheran hosts Oostburg on Thursday in an attempt to wrap up a perfect regular season.
