Sheboygan North’s hopes for at least a share of the Fox River Classic Conference championship were vanquished on Tuesday in a 2-1 overtime loss at Bay Port.
North was 9-0 before losing its final two games — including to sub-.500 Green Bay East on Thursday — to finish 9-2 in FRCC play. Preble defeated Green Bay East 4-0 on Tuesday and won the FRCC with a 10-1 mark.
Austin Campbell scored the Golden Raiders’ goal off a Calian Schrader assist. The score was 1-1 at halftime. Bay Port finishes 8-3.

The Redwings fell behind midway through the first half before Carson Bieber scored twice before the break, and the Redwings went on from there for the FRCC victory.
Bieber scored again in the second half for the hat trick, with another score by Pietro Scilipoti and an own goal.
Assists were credited to Luvis Xiong and Guillermo Monarrez. Coach Mike Heinen also praised seniors Joey Schultz, Jason Dekarske, Toua Yang, Robert Yang, Peter Yang, and Pietro Scilipoti for their performances in their final regular season match.
Sheb. Falls 6, Waupun 0
The Falcons shut down the team they play again next Tuesday in the opening round of the WIAA Division 2 tournament.
Jimmy Jens scored two goals, with one apiece by Jacob Musil, Matt Wilke, Nick Holscher, and Jacob Zehr.
Falls (10-1) attempts to repeat as Eastern Wisconsin Conference champion on Thursday when it hosts second-place New Holstein. Waupun fell to 4-5-1 EWC.
New Holstein 6, Kewaskum 0
Mike Pasineau had a hat trick and added an assist, as New Holstein/Elkhart Lake improved to 8-3 in the EWC with the home win.
Joe Baldwin, Nathan Schmitz and Athly Sabish also scored, while Balwdin and Erick Luna added assists. On Senior Night, Pasineau, Schmitz and Sabish are the senior team captains.
“All our seniors have put in a lot of time and effort over the years and we thank them for that,” coach Nate Laabs said.
