Tied at 1-1, the Plymouth boys soccer team’s Michael Bolland scored in the 76th minute to earn a road win over New Holstein/Elkhart Lake 2-1 on Tuesday.
The Panthers got a goal in the 25th minute by Cooper Ebbott before Joe Baldwin tied it up with a goal in the 52nd minute for New Holstein/Elkhart Lake.
Stephan Clemens made five saves for New Holstein/Elkhart Lake as it had 10 shots with four on goal.
Plymouth had 12 shots and seven on goal.
“This was a heartbreaking loss tonight,” New Holstein/Elkhart Lake coach Nate Laabs said in an email. “After they scored we let down for a while, but after halftime we were able to regroup and come out fighting. … The first time we played them the game was not very close, but this time we competed and could have easily won. We should be proud at how we have improved over the course of the season.”
New Holstein/Elkhart Lake will next be at Little Chute on Thursday.

Joe Pellowski scored his second hat trick in three games as Kohler (9-6-1) earned the road win.
Pellowski’s first goal came off a Brady Stefanczyck assist.
Christian/Lutheran 3, St. Lawrence 1
Christian/Lutheran earned the home win to improve its record to 15-0-0 as it prepares to host Division 3 school St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy at 11 a.m. on Saturday in a non-conference game.
Christian/Lutheran is coached by Perry Phillips, whose son Parker Phillips is St. John’s head coach.
