Springs 3, Lomira 2: Anson Bautista had two first-half goals to give the Lomira boys soccer team a 2-0 lead on St. Mary’s Springs before the Ledgers’ Jackson Voight had a hat trick to overtake Lomira (0-12-1, 0-7 Flyway Conference) in the second half on Tuesday.

Axel Najera and Cristian Soto had assists for the Ledgers (3-5 Flyway), while Bautista scored on a free kick and then unassisted.

At halftime, Springs’ coach Tony Denzin moved Soto from goalie to midfield and dropped Shane Rau back to stopper.

“Shane did the dirty work to shut down Lomira’s attack, and Cristian brought the control and passing to the midfield that we lacked in the first half.”
