Boys swimming: Sheboygan North pulls ahead against Plymouth

By

Truman Scheibel took first place in four events and the Sheboygan North boys swimming team won all but two events en route to a 104-79 non-conference dual win against Plymouth.

Scheibel won the 100 freestyle in 53.45 seconds and was part of three winning relays: the 200 medley (1:51.84), the 200 freestyle (1:37.79), and the 400 freestyle (3:40.86).

The event had been close until the 1-meter diving event — North’s Marcel Harris took first with a 238.65 score — when the Golden Raiders started to pull away.

Jacob Mittelstaedt, Nic Cox and Brayden Schuh took first place in three events — some of them in the same relays — to help push North.

Lucas Collard and Matthew Matz gave Plymouth wins, respectively, in the 200 freestyle (2:04.86) and the 50 freestyle (24.74).

Team scores: Sheboygan North 104, Plymouth 79
