BUFFALO, N.Y.-Burgard remained unbeaten and sent Medina to its first loss this season with a 51-12 win over the Mustangs at All High Stadium in Buffalo late Saturday afternoon.

Burgard’s double threat quarterback Rayshawn Jones ran for two touchdowns and also threw for two touchdowns in the Bulldogs win.

Running back Jamar Holmes also had a huge game for Burgard as he had 194 all purpose yards including an 82 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Holmes other touchdown came on a 56 yard run.

Burgard’s Vernon McCutcheon blocked a punt and had two sacks on defense.Rodrick Morrow had 11 tackles and two sacks for Burgard. Darllel Sanders chipped in with nine tackles and an interception.

Bulldogs head coach coach Jason Kolb told Two On Your Side’s Stu Boyar “It was a full team effort, offense, defense, and special teams played well today. They set up the offense with good field position; they responded by not taking any penalties in the second half and there were no broken coverages.”

Burgard puts its unbeaten record on the line next weekend against Amherst.
