Emmanuel Owootoah and Marlon King, a pair of transfer students from Canada who play basketball at Cordia (Hazard, Ky.), have been the apparent targets of several disturbing incidents in recent days.

During a game at Knott County Central on Friday, the student section chanted "USA! USA! USA!". LEX18.com reports that Owootoah and King were tagged in several images, including one of a Canadian flag with a noose on it, posted on Facebook, and WKYT.com says police are looking for a person who smashed a mailbox at the home of the boys' legal guardians.

Owootoah, who shrugged off the Knott County Central students' chants to score 24 points in a 66-60 win, addressed the harrassment he and King have been subjected to on Wednesday.

"At the end of the day we just go out there on the court and we play our game," Owootoah told WKYT. "Because at the end of the day what happens on the court stays on the court."
