Alex Graf’s first-period power play goal earned the Fond du Lac hockey team a 1-1 tie with Cedarburg at the Blue Line Family Ice Center on Saturday.

Graf scored off an assist from Michael Wilson to open the scoring, while Cedarburg tallied an even strength goal to tie the game in the second period. Neither team scored after that.

William Shober stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced in the game for Fond du Lac (2-2-1).

The Cardinals finished with 22 shots on goal in the game.

Waupun 4, Germantown 1: Four different players scored for the Warriors, who erupted for three goals in a three-minute span in the second period to break the game open.

Brandon Van Galen and Brady Beekman each tallied a goal and an assist for Waupun and was joined by Adrian Harmsen in the second-period barrage.

Jordan Foster scored a short-handed goal in the first period for Waupun.

Austin Taylor finished with 21 saves for the Warriors and came within 29 seconds of earning a shutout.
