Both the girls and boys track teams finished second at the Princeton Invitational on Tuesday.
The girls finished with 32 points, trailing Markesan who won the meet with 99 points. Valley Christian finished in third.
Sarah Roddy led the way with a first place finish in the 1,600-meter run and second in the 800. Hannah Roddy added a second place finish in the 1,600 and a third in the 800.
Markesan also won the boys side with 76 poitns while CWC finished with 55. Valley Christian had 18 points.
The Crusaders had four first place finishes, with Trevor Zonnefeld winning three of them. He took first in the 200-meter dash, the long jump and triple jump.
“It was another cold day, with wind chills in the low 30s but still a good opportunity to actually compete and run against other kids,” head coach Greg Zonnefeld said. “We look forward to getting healthy as we look ahead to a big meet in the Fond du Lac County Invite on Thursday.”
