Pleased with season?
“I’m very happy. I’m proud of my team for putting me in this position, and I’m happy for my coaches as well.”
“I would have to say it was the second game of the season. We went to Oak Mountain, and it was a big game. We had a rivalry game the next week against Prattville and we wanted a lot of people to come. That win against Oak Mountain got us a big crowd.”
“‘Mr. 3000.’ I just like Bernie Mac. That’s a pretty old movie (2004). I just like it because he’s a funny dude.”
“History. I like history because it’s the easiest subject. I like studying the world wars because of the bombings and things like that. I like bombs a whole lot. I like blowing stuff up.”
What do you like blowing up?
“I haven’t blown up too much other than firecrackers. That’s about it. I blew up a tire with firecrackers once.”
Goals for rest of year?
“I have baseball season coming up, so I’m getting ready for that. I want to do the best I can in baseball, and I want to lift weights and get bigger, and I have to graduate. I’m going to graduate.”
When are you going to grow?
“Whenever the Lord blesses me with the ability to grow. I would say I have the biggest heart.”
Embarrass Christian Williams.
“In eighth grade, it was raining outside and we were jumping a puddle. I went first, but Christian couldn’t jump the puddle. He slipped and fell in the water with everybody looking. It was on video and everything.”
“It’s probably already on YouTube. I don’t know if they put it on there, but I know they had the video.”
Dear Santa Claus,
“I just want a system in my truck. That’s all I want. I’m going to try to buy some presents myself.”
