Ozaukee girls basketball

The Warriors defeated Cedar Grove-Belgium 45-28 on Saturday for their sixth-straight win, improving to 7-2 overall. Ozaukee won just seven games in each of its last two seasons. Emily Thome had 14 points and Jessika Dieringer added eight points and seven rebounds.

Stephen Street, Ozaukee

Street, a senior for the Warriors’ basketball team, had 19 points in a 44-37 over Living Word Lutheran on Thursday, then poured in 23 points and 18 rebounds in a 51-33 victory over Random Lake on Friday, as Ozaukee improved to 8-3, 5-2 Central Lakeshore Conference.

Kara Selk, Sheb. South

Selk, a senior for the Redwings’ basketball team, had an all-around outburst of seven points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals as South earned its first Fox River Classic Conference win of the season on Friday, 62-34 over Ashwaubenon.
