Haley Poula had 29 kills and 10 blocks, Madison Russell had 31 digs, while Allyson Simpson had 49 assists and five aces.
“This was a very good learning experience for our young team,” West Branch coach Josh Luakvsky said. “We competed very well throughout the day and made some strides in areas that we were lacking in the past two weeks. Playing Regina and Eddyville in bracket play has shown our weaknesses and areas we need to work on. There have been big strides made since we started practice and we believe that our ceiling is much higher than where we are at.”
West Branch (4-1) will compete in the Grundy Center Quad on Tuesday.
