The Tornadoes held as long as they could, but three goals in a seven -minute span by the Hawks proved to be too much in a nonleague match.

Denba Sene got Hartley (3-5-1) on the board with 12 minutes left in the first half, then Jacob Croswell scored about a minute later and Joe Andress added another goal with five minutes to go to make it 3-0 at halftime.

Martin Gillis opened the second half with a goal to extend it to 4-0 before Zack Kimble’s goal at the 32:00 minute mark got West Muskingum (1-8) on the board.

The Hawks had a 31-12 shot advantage and the Tornadoes’ Ethan Debolt had 17 saves in the losing effort.
