MADISON — Campbellsport’ Ryan Costello and Waupun’s Brady Huenink will each be wrestling for a state title on Saturday night at the Kohl Center.

Costello (40-1) advanced to the title match with a pair of pins on Friday. He needed to just 29 seconds to beat Luxemburg-Casco’s Mason Berceau in the quarterfinals and then stopped Mauston’s Spencer Davies in 2:44 to reach the Division 2 126-pound title bout.
Costello will face Phillip Opelt (47-1) of Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal in the title match.
Huenink (38-1) advanced to the Division 2 182-pound title match with a pair of decision wins on Friday. He stopped St. Croix Central’s Kyle Aaby (3-1) in the quarterfinals and then topped Austin Bellile of Tomahawk 7-2 in the semifinals.
He will face Sparta senior Kyle Burkhalter (40-6) in the championship match.
Three other area wrestlers are also alive for medals and can wrestle back to as high as third place in the morning session.
Lomira’s Casey Seltrecht (44-5) lost his quarterfinal bout to Colin Dolata of Mauston but bounced back to pin Sparta’s Tristan Zurfluh in 1:54 to reach the medal rounds at 138 pounds in Division 2.
Laconia will have two wrestlers going for medals in 160-pounder Mason Lind and Cody Moon at 220 pounds.
Lind scored an 11-3 major decision over Boyceville’s Bryor Hellmann in his consolation bracket match to advance to the medal rounds.
Moon pinned Stratford’s Hunter Kauffman in 1:14 in his quarterfinal match on Friday, but lost in the semifinals to undefeated Royall wrestler Christian Moore to get bounced to the consolation bracket.
