Horicon River Run: Liz Bohn led the way with a first place finish, helping St. Mary’s Springs capture a first place finish with 37 points in the nine-team invite.
Winnebago Lutheran Academy’s Mitchell Bilitz also took first on the boys’ side, finishing almost two minutes better than the field with a time of 15 minutes and 36 seconds. His Vikings finished ninth overall.
Bohn ran a 15:26 for Springs, while teammates Emily McGovern and Paige Case finished seventh and eighth with a time of 17:04. Bailey Hoch and Morgan Krupp added a 10th and 11th place finish to round the top five for the Ledgers.
Laconia’s Hailey Isaac finished third overall with a time of 15:56, while Lomira’s Briana Falk finished fifth with a time of 16:47. Falk helped the Lions finish second with 84 points while Mayville finished fourth and Laconia fifth. WLA finished seventh.
Erica Wenninger led Mayville with a 16th place finish while North Fond du Lac’s Reilly Louko finished 12th. The Orioles didn’t have a complete lineup and didn’t score as a team.
On the boys’ side, Laconia finished second with 105 points while Springs was third. Other area finishers were Mayville in sixth, Lomira in eighth and NFDL in 12th.
Alec Potter led the way for the Spartans, finishing ninth with a time of 17:35. Teammate Justin Johnson added a 11th place finish, running a 17:40.
For Springs, Andrew Skiff was fourth with a 17:20 while Alan Burkart was seventh with a time of 17:32.
Sam Klien led the way for the Cardinals, finishing 14th while Austin Holman led the way for the Lions with a 19th place finish. Ryan Easterson was 12th to lead the Orioles.
