Cross country: Laconia boys, Isaac take third at Oshkosh

Laconia, NFDL at Lourdes Invitational: With all five of its scoring runners finishing in the top 38 out of 90, the Laconia boys finished third out of 15 teams in Oshkosh.

Alec Potter led the Spartans in eighth place with a run of 18:12.98, while Matt Kastein (20th), Justin Johnson (23rd), Zach Rosenau (26th) and Josh Eidenshink (38th) rounded out their varsity scorers.

North Fond du Lac’s boys placed 14th, led by Ryan Easterson’s 17th-place showing.

The Laconia girls placed 10th out of 12, but Hailey Isaac was once again near the front of the pack and took third in 15:46.75. NFDL’s Reilly Louko was 21st, while the Spartans’ Brynn Lemond was 26th.
