UPPER SANDUSKY

Jake Wistinghausen and Trinity Gephart each won individual awards Tuesday as both Oak Harbor cross country teams placed in the top five at the Upper Sandusky Ice Breaker Invitational.

Wistinghausen ran to an eighth-place finish in a time of 17:42.7 as the Rockets were third on the boys side, while Gephart was 15th with a time of 21:41.89 as the girls were fifth overall in the 15-team field.

Tim Poiry was 18th for the Oak Harbor boys, while Bryce Buderer was 21st and Ryan Hasselbach was 25th.

Taylor Dunn ran to a 37th-place finish for the Rocket girls.
