Montrose Christian (Rockville, Md.) guard Allonzo Trier gets plenty of attention for his skills on the court. The rising junior holds college offers from Oklahoma, Baylor and Minnesota.
Point to his scoring ability, and it’s no surprise. His Freshman season with the Oklahoma City Storm, Trier led the state with 1,043 points and his sophomore season brought greater success in the form of 1,152 points.
But Trier’s athletic ability isn’t the only reason to notice him. Glance at his shoes and enough said. From his Flight One Galaxy sneakers to his LeBron 4 All-Stars, Trier doesn’t hold back when it comes to styling his feet.
Of his 95 pairs of sneakers, these five come out on top.
Jordan 11 “Space Jam”
Trier: They’re iconic from the movie Space Jam. I like the patent leather, blue Jumpman logo and the icy bottom.
Nike Air Flight One “Galaxy”
Trier: It’s an old school Penny Hardaway shoe with the All-Star theme from a couple of years ago. They also have the special 3M effect on the base of the shoe and glow-in-the-dark pods and sole. The shoe is so comfortable. I don’t have anything I particularly wear these with. It’s kind of a whatever outfit.
Jordan 1 “Royal”
Trier: It’s an older original colorway, and the first retro Jordan signature shoe. It’s very smooth and a great looking shoe.
Nike Zoom LeBron 4 “NBA All Star”
Trier: I like the Foamposite technology with the inner sock liner and strap across. It’s bulky looking, but a great looking shoe on the foot. The gold colorway is special and rare. It’s an All-Star shoe so it had to be a little more out there.
Jordan 4 “White Cement”
Trier: Another classic shoe that can be worn with a lot of things. Gotta love the cement grey with the paint splatter on them. It’s a clean shoe that just plain looks good.
