School: Chandler. •Class: Senior. •Weight class: 138 pounds.

Season recap: Brady turned in a senior season just as dominant as his previous three, going 33-0 and winning his fourth state championship. No Arizona wrestler had a chance against him, and the only thing that could keep him down was a bad back that forced him to miss the Flowing Wells Invitational in January. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of his season was that he naturally should have been wrestling at 132 or even 126 pounds, but chose to move up to 138 in a selfless move to help his team. Brady will redshirt at Utah Valley next year and said he plans to wrestle at either 125 or 133 pounds in 2014-15.

Brady’s comment: “I’m excited and honored. It’s a long process training, waking up early, watching the weight, working out. … I’m happy that my family gets to see that all my hard work is for something, and to get some recognition.”

Coach’s comment: “Dalton’s done things that have never been done in our district and that few have done in the state. Just watching him wrestle, watching him dominate kids and just watching him being as slick as he was and as creative, it was cool to sit back and be a spectator with him. He’s a once-in-a-career kind of kid. And what’s really cool is he’s a gentleman off the mat and on the mat. He’s a tremendous young man, and that speaks volume about his character. You won’t see another one like him.” — Vidal Mejia.
